The Inquiry has published a ruling by the Chair of the Inquiry, Lord Weir.
The ruling on 23 July 2026 follows an application made by the Scottish Ministers on 13 July 2026 for a restriction order restricting the publication of the identities of junior civil servants, insofar as they are referred to in documents published by the Inquiry.
The application has been refused.
