Core participants

The Eljamel Inquiry has published its list of Core Participants below. 

It is important to note that additional Core Participants may be added to this list as the Inquiry progresses. 

It will be up to Lord Weir, as Chair of the Inquiry, to make a decision on Core Participant applications. 

Core Participants: 

• 139 former patients of Mr Eljamel and 21 personal representatives of former patients. This group is represented by Levy & McRae

• NHS Tayside

• Scottish Government 

• University of Dundee

• Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh

• Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS) 

• Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland), formerly NHS Education for Scotland (NES)
